 Freelance Writer/Editor

Whether you are assigning me an article or hiring me to write a press release announcing the launch of your new product, I will provide you with professional results. I always turn in projects on time or early and make your job as my editor or client as easy as possible by getting it right the first time. Facts are double-checked and verified; copy is read and re-read for syntax, grammar and punctuation perfection.
I set up a password-protected client Web site to provide a central point for all of our communication. No more digging through your emails to see what the quote was on a project. All the project quotes and deliverables are listed on your client site.
WRITING
I take the time to learn about your business and what you are trying to communicate before starting any project. Whether I am writing a proposal, a press release or copy for your Web site, I like to understand a bit about the history of the company and what makes it tick. Writing serves your company better if it is written by someone who is familiar with your goals and ideals.
Writing well is not easy for anyone. It is always a process of writing, editing and re-writing. Some of us just enjoy the process more than others. Because I enjoy the process, your project will run more smoothly. If you have questions or changes, I am open to those and am happy to explain why I chose to phrase something a certain way.
In addition to copywriting, I have experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) writing and editing existing copy to include SEO key words.
EDITING Often my clients can compile all the information their company needs for a brochure, perhaps even write a draft for the press release or Web site. However, they still find their copy is lacking the consistent, professional quality needed to help their company succeed. Or, sometimes my clients have content created by a number of individuals that needs to be brought together into one clear, consistent voice.
That is where I come in.
I can be a second set of eyes to look things over for grammatical mistakes, or provide more detailed copyediting. I also have the skills and experience to make edits directly in the brochure document or in the Web site code, if needed.
